Meet the Makers of FLIKRFIRE the brainchild of Travis Seera and the passion of he and his (older and wiser) brother Tyler from Tennessee. From hometown markets to worldwide exposure, it has been a wild adventure of entrepreneurship! United as family and now partnered in business they are thrilled at enriching people's lives with ever more memorable moments.
About Travis: A thoroughly discontent product developer, he is constantly working to refine both products and manufacturing. FLIKRFIRE was ideated in 2010 with a final product not arriving for another seven years. It all started with the desire for fireplace ambience in his small apartment: the primary mandate being that it ran on inexpensive and readily available fuel. Until FLIKRFIRE'S release, there was no indoor fireplace on the market running on isopropyl alcohol. Learning on the fly as most true inventors, seven years of tinkering led to a finalized material and shape; a welcome reception from family and friends led to dipping a toe into broader sales.
About Tyler: He has watched the progress of FLIKRFIRE for many years. After transitioning from a career as a corporate treasurer he now thrives on the challenge of managing a manufacturing operation and helping to grow the product line. When not working you will find him enjoying being a husband, a dad, and a Liverpool FC fan.
FLIKRFIRE is your personal, portable fireplace. It can travel with you from the living room, the porch, the kitchen, the dining room, the bedroom and even camping. Using a near magical cementitious product this tabletop fireplace is inspired by the wabi sabi aesthetic: simply doing what it is designed to do, accepting flaws and bringing natural elements and textures inside the home.
FLIKRFIRE was born out of the desire for a simple indoor fireplace that could operate on clean burning, inexpensive and readily available fuel. You can even cook marshmallows over the flame!
