Terra Glassworks
Meet the Maker, Matthew Clark, from his glass blowing studio, Terra Glassworks, in The Pacific Northwest artistic hub of Portland, Oregon. Terra Glassworks was founded in 2005 with a goal of creating both functional kitchen glassware and one-of-a-kind glass sculptures.
Matt’s signature stackable tumblers called the “Stack'' and the “Stubby” are not to be missed and should definitely be added to your home bar. In this collection he also has a matching glass carafe with tumbler set, and to top it off gorgeous glass ramekins for all those bar finger foods to make your home bar complete. All of these barware essentials share a clean yet unique design and offer special splashes of color to the rim adding to your festive party.
Mathew began his artistic education at San Francisco State University where he received a BA in Sculpture in 1988. He furthered his study of glass at Pratt Fine Art Center in Seattle and the Pilchuck Glass School in Stanwood, Washington. He continually nurtures his curiosity for glass and is interested in using traditional free-hand glassblowing techniques to explore how clay forms translate to the glass medium.
